REFUND, RETURNS, CANCELLATIONS & EXCHANGE POLICY

Ilaigal

This Returns, Cancellations & Exchange Policy (“Policy”) governs the terms under which products purchased from Ilaigal may be returned, exchanged, or refunded. By placing an order on our website or through any of our sales channels, the customer (“Customer”, “You”) agrees to be bound by this Policy.

1. Scope of Exchange

1.1 Ilaigal permits exchange of products solely in cases where the product is received in a damaged condition.

1.2 Exchange requests are accepted only within five (5) calendar days from the date of delivery.

1.3 No exchange request shall be entertained after the expiry of the said five (5) day period under any circumstances.

2. Mandatory Proof for Damaged Products

2.1 In order to validate a damaged product claim, the Customer must provide:

* A clear parcel opening video, and
* Photographs of the damaged product with original packaging intact.

2.2 The above proof must be shared within twenty-four (24) hours of delivery via:

2.3 Failure to provide the required proof within the stipulated timeframe shall result in automatic rejection of the exchange request.

3. Conditions for Eligibility

3.1 To qualify for an exchange, the product must:

* Be unused
* Be in its original condition
* Be returned with original packaging intact

3.2 Only one (1) exchange is permitted per order. Subsequent exchange requests shall not be accepted.

4. Non-Exchangeable Items

4.1 Products are not eligible for exchange if:

* Purchased under SALE / DISCOUNT / OFFER pricing
* Opened, used, or partially consumed
* Damaged due to improper handling, storage, or misuse by the customer

4.2 Customized, special-order, or promotional products are strictly non-exchangeable unless received in a damaged condition.

5. Exchange Request Procedure

5.1 To initiate an exchange, the Customer must contact Ilaigal within five (5) days of delivery via email or WhatsApp and provide:

* Order details
* Reason for exchange
* Supporting photographs and parcel opening video

5.2 All exchange requests are subject to verification and approval by Ilaigal.

5.3 Ilaigal reserves the absolute right to approve or reject any exchange request. In case of rejection, the reason shall be communicated to the Customer via email or WhatsApp.

6. Return Shipping & Fulfilment

6.1 Upon approval of the exchange request, the Customer shall ship the product to the following address:

6.2 Upon receipt and inspection of the returned product:

* The exchanged product shall be dispatched, or
* A refund shall be processed only if the replacement product is unavailable

7. Shipping Costs

7.1 The Customer shall bear all costs related to return shipping unless otherwise approved by Ilaigal.

7.2 Shipping charges are non-refundable.

7.3 Delivery timelines for exchanged products may vary based on the Customer’s location and logistical factors beyond Ilaigal’s control.

8. Product Care & Liability Disclaimer

8.1 Ilaigal shall not be liable for any damage occurring after delivery due to:

* Exposure to moisture, heat, or sunlight
* Improper storage or handling
* Misuse or overuse of the product
* Failure to follow product usage instructions
* Normal wear and tear

9. Refund Policy

9.1 Refunds will be issued only under the following circumstances:

* The replacement product is unavailable.
* The order cannot be fulfilled by Ilaigal.
* The product received is damaged and approved for refund after verification.

9.2 Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.

9.3 Ilaigal reserves the right to reject refund requests that do not comply with this Policy.

10. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

10.1 In the event of any dispute relating to returns, cancellations, exchanges, or refunds, the Customer may contact Ilaigal at ilaigalfirst@gmail.com

10.2 The decision of Ilaigal in such matters shall be final and binding.

10.3 This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

10.4 The Customer expressly agrees that exclusive jurisdiction shall vest with the competent courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
